On the 10th October 2018 I witnessed for the first time the wonderfully asthetic Exchange Hotel and I was immediately mesmerised by its incrediable architecture. I was shocked to the reasons why a building this magnificent would have been allowed to rot into disrepair. After all it was steeped in rich history like the location of the very first million pound deal was agreed in 1904.

Although orignally built for the merchant shipping trade of the time many years later it served as a music venue for the city. Which was why I was visiting with a small group to meet Mike Johnson the general manager and member of the team behind The Toucan Exchange YouTube TV channel.
Which was the reason for myself and the groups visit to liaise with Mike and to have a guided tour. So we could observe the surrounding backdrop and collect ideas to support the residing project which will become The Toucan Exchange TV.
The visit was great and Mike was more than accommodating and very informative. One thing could be defiantly highlighted by this trip is the importance of organising a plan so that you are aware of all possibilities and are ready and prepared before taking on a project. Which is vitally important after all a lot of calamities could happen on the day so it best to be prepared for anything. The whole trip was a complete success and we were all really excited to get started with the next chapter.
