So the marvellous Deri Roberts my college tutor had arranged an evening for the group on the eleventh of December so some of us could go and visit the BBC studios over in Llandaff. Which was terrible generous of him considering it was his birthday.
This allowed us an insight into how a Christmas special of the Bethan Elfyn show was been recorded. Which also gave us an opportunity to observe how things are run and even hang out with some of the artists backstage in the green room like Adwiath, LIV and Trampoline.
Have to admit the BBC were really accommodating they had put out an amazing spread of food with tea and coffee. Bethan was really bubbly and informative was a real pleasure to meet her, she even took the time to come and ask us about our own ambitions within the music industry which was really thoughtful of her.
After spending time watching from the control room which gave us all a look at how a professional sound engineer does their magic, we headed to over to main recording studio to join as the audience with the usual cheers and clapping. Overall a really fantastic evening and a great opportunity.
