After months of planning the evening arrived for a rave that would put Cardiff Underground music back on the map in some style. The long anticipated hyped up event in the city calendar was finally here. To say I was excited was an understatement. The preparation for the event took some doing regular meetings between myself , DJ Sarki , Ryan Lewis aka DJ Crown from Noisemakers 21 brand and legendary Cardiff Jungle MC Ryder would take place regularly every week, as we sketched out how we would achieve our goal of putting on a memorable party like no other.
Also not forgetting the wonderful Andy Lanning who allowed us to use his venue Inkspot, who was a real gent and his trusty side kick Scott Travers who were ever present at the meetings.
The pictures pretty much paint the picture excuse the pun but the whole night was a real success and big shout to all who came to join the party including the Legendary DJ Apollo and everyone involved like The Spin Doctors who’s live Hip Hop act was awesome. If there is something I have learned from this experience is to be acutely aware of the importance of diplomacy and the art of good negotiation which is the key when collaborating with others.
Although I throughly enjoyed the whole event roll onto the next adventure in my musical journey.
