On the Friday 26th October 2018 myself under sudo name DJ Spektrum and DJ Sarki opened up back to back as part of a Submerge 140 takeover for the popular Switch Up nights. This came about because of our collaboration with MC Ryder who knew Theo Switchup David Thomas the promoter of the night.
I played a blinding set mixed up with 140 breakbeat which sent the crowd bananas and my drops just were applauded by my peers. I really enjoyed this night and was eternally grateful not only with Theo for giving me the opportunity for my first set separate from my own nights but also with Ryder for setting the whole thing up. It was a real pleasure to work with not only RAUDI TT and the boys but also with the Incursion crew who are really going places with up coming commercial releases.
I came away from this gig understanding the importance of self confidence and was aware I had a bright outlook for my future not matter where it would take me.
